The more we live in Christ, the more we can touch the Lord
After I came back to the training, I felt that I could not contact the Lord very much, so I prayed for this to the Lord. During my prayer in the afternoon, the Lord gave me English hymn 507. The hymn chorus lyrics says “Christ liveth in me, Christ liveth in me, Oh what a salvation this, that Christ liveth in me.” I was recalled that during the gospel-preaching in India, we often sang this hymn after someone got baptized.
When they got out from the baptizing pool, we used to sing this hymn to congratulate the baptized ones for their gaining the salvation of Christ, and for the fact that Christ will continue to live in them from that time. During my prayer, the Lord enlightened me that this hymn is not only for the new baptized ones, but also for me.
I have been saved for a long time, but I still also need the salvation of Christ in my daily life. I cannot contact the Lord very much because I live in myself, and not live in Christ. But today Christ lives in me, so we just need to turn to the Lord more, live in Christ more. The more we live in Christ, the more we can surely touch the Lord. Christ is not only the salvation for the new baptized ones, but also the salvation for me in all my daily life.
